Vinod Ghadge Memorial Swimming Meet 2008

The GMAAA places on record its deep sense of appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to all the participants of the Vinod Ghadge Memorial Swimming Meet which was held at the Khar Gymkhana Swimming Pool on 17th and 18th January 2009.
The unstinted support of all the GMAAA affiliates and its members amply demonstrated that we Mumbaikars have our hearts in the right place.
The record participation and generous voluntary contributions enabled the GMAAA to garner a substantial amount of Rs 2,14,500/= ( Rupees two lakh fourteen thousand five hundred only) which was handed over to Vinod’s family.
Honestly, your overwhelming response to this GMAAA initiative far exceeded our expectations. Organizing the meet for such a noble and worthy cause with your unflinching support was indeed a gratifying and rewarding experience, which the GMAAA will cherish for a long time.
The GMAAA once again thanks all those associated with the meet and the fund raising endeavour and looks forward to your continued support in making GMAAA, an association par excellence. |

22nd IIT Open State Level Swimming Gala
The Swimming Club of Students Gymkhana at IIT Bombay conducted their annual 22nd IIT Open State Level Simming Gala on 24th & 25th of February 2007.
The gala included under 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, open & collegiate events.
About 350 entries from 55 clubs of Mumbai, Nasik, Pune, Kolhapur, Thane and other districts of Maharastra were received.
